ROGUE STATE is ready to go, but I'm undecided on when to release it. Probably not next week, since Brad Thor's new novel is released Tuesday, which means absolutely no will notice or care about mine...In the meantime, I highly recommend SPOTREPS, an anthology of short stories set within Peter Nealen's Maelstrom Rising series about societal collapse and basically a world war of unconventional warfare. Continuing work on VIPER

Continuing with edits and revisions on VIPER. No significant re-writes or retooling of the plot on this one, but numerous tweaking throughout, mostly added dialogue and character moments and fleshing out some scenes that were quickly glossed over in serious cases of "telling rather than showing." Also, when this new version is completed, it just might be my favorite of the four novels I have written. It will be on Amazon later this month.

Editing Viper

Editing and tweaking VIPER before it's re-published, and in retrospect I don't recall making it this dark, but it has incest, rape, torture, a touch of cannibalism, collateral damage, high civilian casualties, numerous characters with miserable or pyschotic backstories, and the last page leaves the main character possibly left for dead and bleeding out in the desert. Oh, and someone gets his balls shot off. Kinda makes me wonder where my head was at back then.
